We are fiduciary to the individuals and families that we service and have a professional duty and responsibility to always act in your best interest, place your interests ahead of our own and act with prudence.

Crystal focuses on comprehensive financial planning for individuals, families and corporate clients. Crystal’s work includes comprehensive financial planning for clients to determine cash flow needs, forecasting future income needs, tax, retirement, insurance and estate planning, as well as charitable giving. As an active member in the community, Crystal is involved in The Woodlands United Methodist Church, Women’s Energy Network, Houston A&M Club, and National Charity League. Crystal also volunteers her time teaching local Financial Planning and Women & Investing college course. Crystal received her Bachelor of Science degree at Texas A&M University in 2004. Crystal and her husband Will, a paramedic with the Houston Fire Department, live in The Woodlands with their daughters Rebecca and Hannah. She has been in the financial services industry since 2007.

Chase Hammett, CFP® is a Managing Partner of Legacy Capital. Chase manages the firm’s investment committee and advises individuals and institutions on their investment and wealth advisory needs. He also works with clients to help them determine goals and identify financial risks, creating an allocation strategy for their investments. Chase builds and implements a disciplined, ongoing process to ensure that the complexities inherent to his clients’ wealth are addressed. Chase received his Bachelor of Arts in Finance at Texas State University prior to joining the financial services industry and also served in the Texas Army National Guard. Chase enjoys spending time with family, traveling and volunteering with local Veteran organizations.

Micala Patschke is the Vice President of Operations. Micala manages the operations side of the practice, coordinating the processing and tracking of many types of account activity including account opening, maintenance, transfers, daily client requests as well as providing general office support. Micala holds multiple roles with Legacy Capital and enjoys the diverse challenges of her roles. Micala is also responsible for overseeing the firm’s wide-ranging marketing and communications initiatives. Micala started her career as an intern at Merrill Lynch through the Texas A&M University Financial Planning program in 2017 and transitioned into a full-time position upon receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Business and Agricultural Economics from Texas A&M. Micala and her husband Bryce, who is also an Aggie, and their daughter Livingston reside in the Cypress area. They both enjoy spending time with family, traveling and volunteering in the community.
